Hello all,
Am signed up and have forwarded details to James Isherwood. This mail is
going to the list (thanks for setting this up Richard & Andy) as my first
test. Richard, you mentioned that all messages to the list are available in
an archive online somewhere - could you forward details around?
Interesting couple of bits of news:
1. The rise of Ajax in site use is leading web analytics companies to
re-evaluate the usefulness of page views as a key statistic - when a full
experience can be delivered without the user leaving the page, what is the
point?
2. BT and Microsoft are running a competition to encourage developers to
merge traditional telecoms with Web 2.0 to redefine the telecomms sector.
Prize funds up to £13,000. Details at networkmashups.com. Ideas, anyone?
Thanks all,
Dan
