Hi Haze,

What’s the use case of the site? How often is it updated? Does it 
matter if it’s slightly out of date?

Mirroring the site is fine, but if the database needs to be 
near-synchronous you’re still going to have latency issues unless you 
can shard.

If the database can diverge by a few seconds on each of the nodes, or 
the data can be separate, you can mirror much more easily.

Did the CDN help? Alternatively you could try caching (maybe with 
edge-side includes).
