[BNM] [OT] Shouting at the bank - Not feeling so mellow in vancouver

I get it a lot. Once stranded on an island(ish) out of Sydney, with no way
to pay for the ferry back. "You spent money in England one day, and then
Australia two later" says she, apparently unfamiliar with the concept of
*aeroplanes*. Similar experiences in Canada, America, and other easily
reachable destinations. Alas, they didn't manage to stop some bastard
stealing my wallet from the lockers at LA Fitness and rinsing the entire
account at the Portland Road Co-op last week. Apparently they only monitor
for International Pseudo-Criminals who steal your card and catch a thousand
pound flight around the globe in order to use your card for a three dollar
mocha at Gloria Jeans in Darling Harbour...
