Hey Nick,

Sure - all you need is a Pay-As-You-Go International SIM card. We have them
in Russia as the normal way of connecting - so there are many places on the
net you can pick up the SIM cards and top-up cards. That would give you a
Russian telephone number but allow you to call/recieve international calls.

I would look at the Russian-Marriage sites as an access point -

is a good option) I've used this site before when topping up my
phone abroad. They just get your money, withdraw it, buy the cards, then
email you the code.

There are some more official looking options though - probably require ID in
some form.

Otherwise look at international SIM providers

They will be more expensive though. Doesn't really matter which country you
access from, the key is finding the top-up cards online - but all is
available on the net.
