[BNM] new BBC website design

As someone who has long since given up being arsed about the detailed 
goodness/badness of web sites, can anyone explain why the new BBC site 
is meant to be so terrible? I had a look and I thought it was easy to 
read, I quite liked the colour change thing, it seems okay. And it was 
very fast, which I REALLY liked. So, what's so wrong with it?

Apart from the desire to slate it out of a moral duty to dislike it on 
principle, of course.
