[BNM] [OT-ish] hardware hacker wanted

I have a dumb terminal, pretty much like this one [http://www.vintage-computer.com/images/adm3a.jpg 
] which I'd like to use to display some ascii-art video. Obviously the  
thing itself isn't up to doing much, but I'm wondering if there are  
any hardware hackers who might like to help me wire-up the screen to  
an external video source of some sort?

My electronics skillz don't extend beyond tinkering with a 300-in-1  
electronics kit from Tandy, and that was the best part of 30 years  
ago...

Obviously the screen is a cathode ray tube of very low resolution, so  
I'm not expecting HD output - in fact the crapness is part of the  
appeal.

Is such a thing possible? Or am I better off using plan B and ripping  
out the tube and putting in an LCD [which won't look as cool]?
