Sorry about that. I started the email confused and realised half way what the problem was. I should have either started again or not sent it.

The problem for me is:
background-image: url(../images/header-bg3.gif);

If an image is in CSS then I don't see it. It's not really a big problem here but is a pain when the images are used for navigation. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to ask.

With images in the style sheet, I tend to end up with a blank screen. When I hover over the blank screen I realise there is something to click on. Also a pain if there's no Alt tags etc. Trying to remember a few sites that do it. I think three.co.uk is one or used to be.

I suppose it's my problem as I do effectively override the style of a site with firefox's user.css (I think that's what it was called).

Sorry for the waffle. I'm going to have a look at the Firefox user.css options. And this looks useful:
