I like it and as it's a BNM thing; can I ask a CSS question about it? I use firefox for viewing web pages. As I'm (using the technical term) "a blindy" (well one eye is 1/2 good) I use all the high contrast settings in Firefox. I go to
Tools>>options>>content -colours.
I set the background to Black and text to white. And the hyperlinks to yellow. I guess I'm creating a user.css and overriding the design (sorry). I use safari and IE in normal colours. I'm going to experiment with the other tickboxes now.
One thing that happens a lot is that some things are just not there (invisible to me). I guess it's black text on a black background. In the case of the BNM page the image in the top left is completely missing. I know it's there if I ...ahhhh! I get it now.... The image etc is in the CSS (not HTML) and I'm overriding this!
Are there any tricks I can do to sort this. I was kind of hoping my CSS would override the page CSS (it does I get it now). I think the bit that doesn't work for me is:
{
background-color: transparent;
background-image: url(../images/header-bg3.gif);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-attachment: scroll;
background-x-position: left;
background-y-position: top;
float: left;
height: 160px;
width: 291px;
top: 15px;
position: relative;
text-indent: -1000em;
}
Actually as I've typed this email I think I get what's going on. Off to check the others now.
Jason (chuffed that I've understood some CSS)
