[BNM] [OT] Big TV recommendations, and is 1080 worth it?

All this is so confusing. I spent an hour talking to some reasonably
knowledgeable guy at Richer Sounds today, looking at different TVs, and i
ended up walking away more confused than ever.

So far, i'm down to these.. if anyone's got one of the following, let me
know if it's any good :)

40" Samsung LE40M87BD
