Job Title: Technical Operations Manager

Description: Brunel University's School of Arts is delighted to advertise
two new positions, based in our exciting and expanding Journalism subject
area. You will be part of a dynamic team offering a growing portfolio of
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, some of which are
industry-accredited. Our provision is characterised by cutting-edge
vocational delivery alongside an emphasis on innovative approaches to
critical reflection and synthesis of theory with practice.

We wish to appoint a Technical Operations Manager to ensure the smooth
running of our three multi-media Newsrooms, including maintaining computer
provision (print/online/broadcast) and our broadcast facilities. The post
includes intensive instruction and technical support to students and staff
in software and hardware. You should have excellent interpersonal skills,
and proficiency with Apple hardware, software and networking and
industry-standard broadcasting systems. Experience of working in similar
role either in Higher Education or the media industry is essential.
