[BNM] [OT] Verified by Visa

Here¹s a problem that pissed me off because of how simple and avoidable it
is:

So I¹m in Wroclaw airport in Poland, and I desperately need to get online
after three days in the wilderness. (pfft clean air? Over-rated!) There¹s
wireless at the airport that you can pay for by card, but they don¹t take
AMEX. Luckily I have my trusty VISA backup, which is widely accepted...
but... you get past all the screens configuring the user account, put in
your details, your credit card information, et cetara... and it all goes
through! Hooray! Until... toss-socks, it¹s trying to load
https://verifiedbyvisa.barclaycard.com or something, and you haven¹t got
full internet access yet. So simple, so stupid, so ineveitable. There¹s no
way around it, so I¹m left screwed without internet because of some security
program.

C¹est la interweb.
