Subject: [BNM] BNM Copyright on using other peoples music..

Friend of mine asked me this question below but I have no idea about
the subject. Can anyone throw some light on the subject? TIA

Alright matey just a quick one I'm doing a short film for my internet
site/showreel and would like to put it to some music/ Audio... got some
tracks in mind that aren't mine do you know if I'm aloud to use other
peoples tunes without getting sued. I'm only thinking of around twenty
seconds of music can you shed any light on the matter ??
