I have the 400D, and it truly is superb. I believe it has less noise
than an equiv. Nikon, at high ISOs.
It takes fantastic photos, is the right price, and yeah, the cleaning
stuff is pretty great too. It also doesn't have an encrypted white
balance in RAW files which is good.
My only complaint: You can't shoot in RAW in the automatic modes -
although you shouldn't be using automatic modes, so who cares.
