www.trutap.net - Java app which ties together MSN, Yahoo, ICQ,  
possibly others with blogging,

Blatant plug because it's one of ours (at least the client-side is). I  
know that unifying access to all those different IM transports isn't  
trivial, though there are lots of IM clients out there that do it.
