What's all this shouting.

Words of wisdom no doubt and do they not answer handsomely, but a little 
unfair perhaps.
The project was started long before I had heard of the BNM list and its 
denizens, the talented, skilled, focussed and professional.
At that point, also, my experience of UK based developers was way below 
the metaphorical bar marked 'whelmed'.
Hindsight, it's twenty twenty, no.
