[BNM] 760px to fit 800px screens (was css miz)

Hi Tom,

I'm not sure if you wanted a response but you're right to query 780.
Some browsers scroll bars are wider than 20px and so if the page extends
below the bottom of the screen, and so a scroll bar appears on the
right, then you'll end up with an annoying pointless little scroll bar
at the across the bottom.

Interesting. I've been given as PSD layout that is 780px
When I queried the wisdom of this the designer explained that the
resulting
jpeg was visible in their laptop so this means it's OK for everyone as
laptops have small screens. Or something. Unfortunately I could not give
an
intelligent reply, not because the conversation had dumbed down but
because
I did not feel I had enough evidence to reject the 780 is OK theory.
