Not analogies – but I just think about it as a series of rectangles –  
usually: Header, Sidebar, Content and Footer (the master game of anti- 
grav Tetris); and within these rectangles there are other/child  
rectangles (a mini-game of anti-grav Tetris) and these child  
rectangles generally only exist within the boundaries of their parent  
rectangle; these child rectangles can have child rectangles of their  
own inside them (a mini-mini-game of anti-grav Tetris). Ad infinitum.

A rectangle = a <div>, or <span>, <p> etc

Use CSS to instruct these rectangles where you want them to go within  
their parent rectangle.
