[BNM] What does CRM mean to you?

Hello,

Just looking at the idea of a customer relationship manager package/tool 
for someone. I'm not sure what it is exactly. I'm not looking for a right 
or wrong answer but can you suggest what CRM means to you?

To begin:
It's an email client
It logs incoming and outgoing emails
It logs incoming and outgoing communications?

Any other suggestions. Again not looking for right or wrong answers just 
what it means to you.
