[BNM] open source software recommendations

Hi all,
I'm looking for recommendations for open source php based software. I use pivot for my blog but I would like something more robust for a community portal type site (including chat, forum etc) and also a more basic CMS for an online resume.

Any suggestions? Anyone got experience with CMS Made Simple, Drupal, phpNuke (or postNuke) or phpBB??
