[BNM] Motherboard question

Hello

Not really a new media question but I was wondering if it is possible to 
mix IDE hard disks with SATA hard disks. My motherboard supports IDE  & 
Dual SATA Raid (Asus K8V SE Deluxe) and I don't know if it is generally 
possible to mix them or do you have to stick to one. Looks like SATA need a 
power supply too and a new cable which I don't think I have and Aria 
generally don't supply these with disks.

I want to buy a big second hard disk and they look reasonably cheap on Aria 
(as do the IDE ones).
