I thought someone would bring that up. As I kid I never saw the original 
uncut so it's Battle of the Planets for me. I imagine a remake would be 
true to the original but I could see that a writer would feel obliged to 
stick 7-zark-7 in, albeit in a small scene.

The original didn't have 7 zark 7. i can't remember myself but I read about 
it a few years ago and someone said that they were added later to explain 
away the missing battle scenes.

My mate had them, the uncut ones, on VHS; this is about 10-15 years ago. No 
idea where he got them from and I don't think they were in English either; 
probably still in Japanese.

I thought Team America was the remake of Thunderbirds.
